2009 - Automated Routing and Die Cutting

Up to this time and apart from tedious saw cutting we could only supply signs in straight cuts from an old guillotine machine. With the extra space provided by our new premises we were able to invest in a routing machine for the first time. Now we could supply printed signs cut in any shape up to three metres long and direct from computer design. Likewise, we could route or die-cut lettering and symbols with accuracy in different materials and thickness. While this machine initially lay idle for much of the time, slowly we began to use it more and more in the following years as customers became aware of its capabilities.
