COVID-19 School Signage

School as we all once knew it will not be the same as before due to COVID-19. With nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and universities set to re-open over the coming weeks, it’s important to take all the necessary precautions to protect both staff and students.

A specific guidance document for educational settings has been issued by the *Department of Education with some points to note:

Pupils and staff should perform hand hygiene: On arrival at school; before eating or drinking; after using the toilet; after playing outdoors; when their hands are physically dirty; when they cough or sneeze.
Hand sanitiser dispensers can be positioned more readily at entry and exit points of schools and classrooms.
Physical Distancing measures be it 1m or 2m should be adhered to.
Schools should promote good hygiene and display posters throughout the schools on how to wash your hands.
Arrangements for dropping off/collecting pupils should be arranged to encourage physical distancing of 2m where possible.
