When a well-known Limerick GAA club asked us to help out with award plaques for an upcoming ceremony, we were more than happy to help out.
We were supplied with a fantastic photo of their players on the steps of the Hogan Stand receiving the Liam McCarthy Cup. The Liam McCarthy Cup is the ultimate prize and the Holy Grail for Irish people, and particularly people from hurling counties so it was important that the material we chose reflected this level of prestige.
Our recommendation involved converting the photo to black and white and printing on what we call Brushed Alu Board. This is a 3mm Brushed Aluminium material that displays a bold metallic effect that traditional printing is unable to deliver. It is superb for black and white printed images and the finished pieces reflected this.
